Jointly Appointed Faculty

To strengthen cross-institutional collaboration, the department holds joint faculty appointments with National Taiwan Normal University's Department of Life Science and Academia Sinica's Biodiversity Research Center. Our 3 joint faculty members bring expertise in wildlife ecology and conservation, Taiwan's Long-Term Ecological Research network, and microbial ecology — extending our research from macro-ecosystems to microbial frontiers, and broadening our students' exposure to advanced resources and global perspectives.
